GHOST STORIES at the Music Box Theatre, Opening May 11th
Experience three spine-tingling tales of terror to haunt your dreams. A debunker of all things paranormal, Professor Phillip Goodman (Andy Nyman) has devoted his life to exposing phony psychics and fraudulent supernatural shenanigans on his own television show. His skepticism is put to the test, however, when he receives a file of three chilling, inexplicable cases: a night watchman (Paul Whitehouse) haunted by disturbing visions as he patrols an abandoned asylum; an edgy young man (Black Mirror’s Alex Lawther) involved in a hellish car accident deep in the woods; and a wealthy former banker (Sherlock’s Martin Freeman) visited by the poltergeist spirit of his unborn child. Even scarier: each of the these macabre stories seems to have a sinister connection to Professor Goodman’s own life. Will they make a believer of him yet?
“A witty and well-crafted love letter to old-school horror tropes.” — The Hollywood Reporter

Stranger Con: A Salute to the TV Series Stranger Things, June 23-24 in Rosemont
Stranger Things captured everyone’s attention when it debuted in 2016 with amazing performances, intriguing mystery and its Steven Spielberg/Stephen King vibe. Drawing on ’80’s culture, horror, and the all too familiar experiences of being a nerdy kid, the show managed to be fresh and exciting while feeling familiar and relatable. There’s no way we at Creation will ever look at Christmas lights the same way again!
We couldn’t be more excited to bring you Stranger Con in Chicago, a convention that celebrates a show we love so much, and the people who make it what it is. Headlined by breakout star Millie Bobby Brown, we bring you the stars of Stranger Things, off the screen and in person for two days full of excitement, music and fun! Meet your favorite actors from Stranger Things and interact with them in ways you never thought possible. Don’t worry, we didn’t invite the Demogorgon or Shadow Monster.
This convention is different from any you’ve ever been to before. We guarantee you a seat to see all the stars, so there’s no camping out or hoping to just catch a glimpse. Your only concern is having the time of your life alongside them!

Satanic Panic: An Immersive Evening of Paranoia & Power
Was a generation being preconditioned for devil worship through heavy metal music and He-Man?! When those lyrics are chanting out DO IT DO IT DO IT…what was IT? Drugs…sex…MURDER?! In a time of deep social upheaval, paranoia was paramount! Remember the power that misunderstanding and moral panic holds to destroy lives; think of the West Memphis Three, the San Antonio Four, the McMartin School Trial, widespread censorship, mishandled investigations, beware thy neighbor, and media fueled fear. Is the devil at work or is it just mankind’s way?
On Friday the 13th, the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse will usher in a Grand Guignol-style event in the heart of the Chicago Loop. For one night, the SAIC MacLean Ballroom will transform into an occult ritual space showcasing the Seven Seals of the Apocalypse. Whether you are for or against, or simply a morbid curiosity seeker, this night welcomes you to confront this moral binary of good versus evil.
Allow yourself to be lured into an immersive evening of entertainment that brings together over 40 visual artists, vendors, burlesque, circus, performance artists from across the country who have created pieces that touch on the 1980s-90s cultural phenomenon of Satanic Panic.
