5th Annual Roosevelt Road Zombie Walk and Pub Crawl
10/25/2014 4:30 pm | to | 10/26/2014 6:30 am |
Prepare yourself for the 5th Annual Roosevelt Road Zombie Walk and Pub Crawl on Saturday, October 25 starting at 6:45 pm. The event will feature zombie make-up, a pub crawl, food and an after-party at FitzGerald’s designed to rival even your fondest memories of Thriller. Participation in the event is $20 pre-pay or $25 at the door. Tickets include admission, exclusive drink specials for the zombified, make-up and food provided at the after-party. The first 100 to purchase tickets will receive a FREE special edition commemorative t-shirt!
The Zombie Walk is founded on the participation of Halloween-lovers willing to take their zombie motif to the limit. To help with this endeavor, Horrorbles sponsors make-up and costume staging from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at venues to be announced on Roosevelt Road. Once properly attired, zombies will be led on a pub-crawl that will overtake local bars along the road. FitzGerald’s will host the catered after party with un-deadly fun. In the true spirit of the un-dead, zombies will proceed between venues in silence. Once the crawl is over, zombies can resume their search for brains at their favorite Berwyn haunts until the late hours of the evening!
This event is brought to you by the Roosevelt Road Special Events Commission of the BDC.

Evil Dead The Musical NOW PLAYING! In Chicago
- Playing at: Broadway Playhouse
- Dates: September 23, 2014 – October 12, 2014
- Runtime: Two hours with an intermission
Ridiculously funny and bloody awesome! That’s what theatregoers from Toronto to NYC and around the world have been saying about the record-breaking musical comedy sensation that takes all the elements of Sam Raimi’s cult classic films (The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Army of Darkness) to make one of the craziest theatrical experiences of all time! The only musical in the world where audiences can sit in the “Splatter Zone” and get drenched from the mayhem, or watch from a safe (and dry) distance.
Five college students spend the weekend in an abandoned cabin in the woods and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It’s all up to our hero, Ash, and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Evil Dead the Musical, has it all – some dismembered limbs, demons telling bad jokes, and catchy tunes (“Look Who’s Evil Now”, “All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons”).
- May be inappropriate for 12 and under. Contains strong language plus a hilarious amount of fake blood, and over-the-top guts and gore! Those seated in the designated ‘Splatter Zone’ VIP seat locations will be splashed by stage ‘blood’ and get increasingly wet over the course of the performance.
