Musical Horror Story: Exorcism at the Charnel House, Dec. 1-15
MUSICAL HORROR STORY : EXORCISM is a stunning, funny and terrifying new musical from the award winning creators of MUSICAL OF THE LIVING DEAD (voted Chicago Readers Best Musical). True to form, MUSICAL HORROR STORY: EXORCISM features all original music, comedy, drama and outrageous special effects culminating in an unforgettable climax.
Set in New Orleans, 1964, our story follows Reverend Mother, charged with leading the girls in her care at the Divine Lorraine Home for Wayward Girls to a life of Godliness, when a mysteriously abandoned young lady arrives late one night. The terror mounts as creepy and eerie unexplained paranormal activity begins to wreak havoc on the orderly life at the convent, resulting in a clandestine visit from a priest with a passionate past to perform an exorcism — live on stage.
Featuring Katy Campbell, Kirk Jackson, Amanda Schilling, Kayla Zaniboni and Cowardly Scarecrow Theatre Company favorite, Caitlin Jackson, this all out creepfest mashes up your favorite stories of demonic possession and blends it together and caps it all off with goofiness, goriness and a gruesome ending that is sure to leave you glad you didn’t eat pea-soup for dinner.
Directed with Book and Lyrics by Marc Lewallen and Brad Younts and music composed by Mary Spray, MUSICAL HORROR STORY: EXORCISM will be the horror fanatics perfect cure for the schmaltzy, schmoozy typical Holiday fair with its memorable mix of horror and hilarity.

Chicago Filmmakers Need Your Help to Turn Fake Trailer BUZZKILL Into a Feature
BUZZKILL is a fun and bloody revenge story set in a fantasy-nightmare version of Chicago. The Scumbags have taken over the city with their dangerous new drug. An innocent man crosses paths with the gang. Drugged and left for dead, The Buzzkill is born. And so begins his violent quest for vengeance…
“I’ve got an idea for a horror movie about a guy with a buzzsaw.”
Those simple words were the beginning of BUZZKILL. Cyle Williamson (Writer/Director) and Collin Major (Actor, “The Buzzkill”) would day-dream about the project while working together as Special Effects Artists.
“It should look like it was made in the 80s.”
“I want it to be a slasher movie where the slasher is the hero.”
By pulling favors from friends on stolen weekends, these dreams eventually manifested themselves as a fake movie trailer for the film.
Now they want to bring their Buzzkill Baby to glorious gory life, and that’s where you come in – visit https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/buzzkill-the-movie-film-chicago#/ to help Cyle and Collin turn their dream into reality!
