Zombie Fest is a gathering of Zombies to help support the veterans and families of our armed forces. A portion of the procedes will be donated to the Wounded Warrier Project and other veteran groups.

August 31 will mark the 213th anniversary of the birthday of Mary Shelley, whose novel Frankenstein remains one of the most influential works ever published.  Coincidentally, August 31 was also the birthday of Fred MacMurray, the star of the long-running TV sitcom, My Three Sons.  Being easily amused, Shadows & Screams thought of a mash-up title, My Three Sons of Frankenstein, which inspired this month’s contest.  Since horror-related variations on MacMurray’s work would seem to be limited, we’ll focus on Mrs. Shelley’s creation.  Your job is to come up with another Frankenstein sitcom mash-up title.  The one that elicits the most chuckles from us will earn the winner a copy of a fitting mash-up of another kind: Joe Bob Briggs Presents Jesse James Meets Frankenstein’s Daughter.  We wouldn’t dream of giving away William “One Take” Beaudine’s 1966 clunker as a prize…it would be more of a punishment.  But add the witty commentary of America’s favorite drive-in movie critic and suddenly a turkey becomes a treasure.
